S&P Records presents a newly-mixed and newly-mastered edition of Peggy’s hugely popular, Grammy-nominated 1960 album for Capitol Records, creatively featuring Broadway standards by Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Lerner & Loewe and others set to an exciting Afro-Cuban beat. In addition to the album’s original twelve tracks, this release includes three similarly-flavored bonus tracks: “From Now On” and “Olé” (both from the Latin ala Lee! sequel album, Olé ala Lee!) and, from the album Guitars ala Lee, the song “Sweet Happy Life” — a recording familiar to today’s audiences via a long-running television commercial for Target stores.
