A Natural Woman and Is That All There Is? — Peggy’s two 1969 albums for Capitol — make their CD debut on this EMI Two on One release. Both albums boast excellent arrangements and fine material, including three Randy Newman compositions and Peggy’s original, Grammy-winning recording of Is That All There Is? by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller.

American buyers of this CD might be puzzled by the inclusion of what appears to be four bonus tracks: Sing a Rainbow, Somethin’ Stupid, I Can Hear the Music, and You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby, all from Peggy’s 1967 Somethin’ Groovy! album. These four songs were added to the original UK release of Is That All There Is?, giving UK listeners a sampling of an album that was not released on their shores. (In 1998 EMI reissued the complete Somethin’ Groovy! album, paired with Extra Special! on a Two on One CD.)

All songs were recorded between January and October of 1969, with the exception of tracks 17 (November, 1962), 15, 18, 23 and 25 (June, 1967).
