Organizers at the Midland Continental Depot Transportation Museum invite the public to celebrate Peggy Lee’s 102nd birthday and the seasonal opening of the space on Thursday, May 26. From 1-4 p.m., cake, coffee and lemonade will be served and tours given of the ongoing Peggy Lee exhibit. The late jazz singer, born Norma Deloris Egstrom, was raised by her father, the station agent, in the former train depot until graduating from high school in 1937 and moving to Fargo.
