Generations of children grew up entranced by Si and Am, the mischievous Siamese cats who were both voiced by Peggy in Lady and the Tramp, singing “We are Siamese if you please. We are Siamese if you don’t please.” Peggy also recorded the song on February 11, 1955 for release on Decca Records. Jazz singer Bobby McFerrin recorded it for the 1991 Disney tribute album and video project Simply Mad About the Mouse, and actress-singer Hilary Duff sang it on the 2004 tribute album Disneymania 2.
