Recorded in the same Capitol Records session as “Fever” on May 19, 1958, “Things Are Swinging” served as the title song (minus the second “g” on “Swingin’”) for one of Peggy’s first stereo albums and was co-written with the album’s arranger and conductor, Jack Marshall. The song has since been recorded by Peter Brady, Chris Connor, Catherine Dupuis, Susan Maughan, the Mike Sammes Singers, Janet Seidel, Toni Tennille and in a duet version by Cheryl Bentyne and Mark Winkler.
